Walking into Wasabi Thai Sushi, I was immediately met with a menu that felt like a passport to Southeast Asia, especially Thailand. The journey began with their Thai appetizers—crispy Crab Rangoon and golden Fried Tofu set the tone perfectly. The Curry Puff, with its delicate pastry and rich filling, was a surprising standout, while the Fresh Roll and sweet-sour Mee Krop offered lighter, refreshing bites.
I sampled the soups next—each bowl a warm, aromatic adventure. The Tom Kha Goong, creamy and tangy with hints of lemongrass, was comfort in liquid form, while the Silver Noodle Tofu Soup brought a subtle depth for veggie lovers. The King Of The Sea Soup lived up to its name—bold, briny, and teeming with seafood.
The salad section was anything but an afterthought. The Seared Tuna Salad came beautifully plated and full of texture, while the Jumping Shrimp—yes, they almost leap with flavor—added a spicy punch.
Stir-fried offerings hit all the classic Thai notes. The Basil and Cashew Nut dishes were aromatic and satisfying, and the Pad Prig Khing packed just the right amount of heat. I couldn’t resist the Pineapple Fried Rice, which arrived in a carved-out pineapple, blending sweet and savory beautifully.
Curries are where Wasabi truly shines. From the creamy Massaman to the fiery Red Curry, each dish was rich with spice and soul. Noodle fans will rejoice with the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodle—both generously portioned and full of wok hei.
Finally, the Wasabi Chef’s Specials are where creativity explodes. The Choo-Chee Salmon and Chilean Sea Bass are as elegant as they are flavorful. And for the adventurous? The Lava Chicken and Frog Legs are must-tries.
Wasabi Thai Sushi doesn’t just serve food—it tells a story with every bite.
